30 Day Blogging Challenge: GoT Day Ten

It feels like forever since I have had any new Game of Thrones to watch…or any new A Song of Ice and Fire to read. In little over a month we all will get the seventh season of the hit HBO show. I am betting we will not get the last two books until the show has completed its run in 2018. I hope I am wrong about that but more and more it feels like that is what is going to happen. That means for now the show will be the officially unofficial canon of Westeros will be the show. As a writer I am not super happy about that but as a fan I just need my GoT fix already.  To help satisfy that need I embark upon a 30 day blogging challenge about Thrones. I am going to try to answer each prompt once for the TV show and once for the books since a great many things differ. With that being said…

Day Ten-Stark or Lannister

Do I want to die a horrible death over some dumb decision I made…or do I want to have all the money in the world and band one of my siblings? That is the question that is being asked today.

While it would be awesome to have a big furry wolf as a running buddy I am not so sure that having an endless supply of money (in the books so far)…I could be drinking buddies with Tyrion and maybe just maybe all that wine would blank the memory of the sibling banging. I got to admit being able to bitch smack Joffrey like he owed me money is a huge plus but I am not so sure I can get past fornication with relatives.

Winterfell sounds way more epic than Casterly Rock…reading the book A World of Ice and Fire that castle is exactly what it sounds like its name…a gigantic fucking rock. That’s a hard pass.

Even though this choice will likely lead to my gruesome murder I am going to go Stark…awesome castle, better pets, and most importantly of all no dirty naked time with family.
