Day Nineteen Favorite Revenge of the Sith moment

I will say this…this is probably the best movie in the prequel trilogy…but being the best movie in a trilogy this bad is like being the coolest kid in the pysch ward. These movies waste a lot of time and energy on stuff that isn’t fundamental to the story and stuff that happened off screen. It is infuriating. In this movie we see Anakin fall to the dark side in a vain attempt to safe his lover…but it is so poorly developed that it ends up looking like he joined the dark side cause he got bored or something.

Picking a favorite moment from this so called film is something of a hardship. I suppose it has to be the lightsaber duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Even though a lot of that fight makes little sense it was the moment we had been waiting for through three pretty terrible movies. While it has a lot of faults we at least saw what happened to Anakin to make him the most machine monstrosity that we see in the Orig Trig. The rest of this movie is poorly executed and there is no build for all of the evil inside of Anakin.

It is so rushed, so poorly written that in one scene Anakin doesn’t know what he is going to do and the next one he is killing younglings…and he has yellow eyes…ok whatever George Lucas. Having him start by killing the Alien leaders of the opposition seems like a far likely first step for this kid who is determined to save Padme at any cost. I understand what they were trying to build up I just think they did a very poor job of said building.
